Home Remedies of Jacksonville, Inc. was founded and is owned by Ron Thigpen; a long time resident of Jacksonville. Ron is very “hands on” contractor who doesn’t mind, and actually enjoys, “putting on the tool belt” from time to time to help or assist his carpenters or superintendent whenever the need arises. “It helps to keep the rust off and affords me a perspective that you can’t always receive from sitting behind the desk,” says Ron.

Our projects are always staffed with our own employee-carpenters, helpers, and superintendents.  We utilize well-established subcontractors and trades people with proven track records to create a first class team to accomplish our goals and the client’s dream.

A large majority of our projects are repeat clients or referrals.  The firm has established a strong client base in Jacksonville’s historic neighborhoods of Avondale/Riverside, Ortega, San Marco, San Jose, and The Beaches including Ponte Vedra.
